KaYoga - Embrace the elements

KaYoga – Embrace the elements

Join us this summer for a unique combination of yoga and sea kayaking from our base in Deer Island on the Bay of Fundy. We will spend the weekend exploring our connection to the natural world. Sunrise and sunset yoga practice will be inspired by each of the elements: Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Heart. These sessions will prepare you mentally and physically to experience two full days of paddling in the rich tidal environment of the Fundy Isles. Interpretation will highlight the natural history of the area and our common connection to the earth. This combination of yoga and paddling will work together to develop our sense of place and provide you with a deep appreciation of the world around us and our place within it.

Angela Daley

Our special- in house yoga instructor for our summer workshop is Angela Daley…You will be drawn to Angela’s quiet peaceful nature as you develop both a physical and spiritual sense of place..

Angela took her first yoga class 10 years ago, although initially drawn to yoga for its remarkable physical benefits, what’s kept her hooked has been the heightened sense of self and community. Over the past 3 years being involved with Seascape, she has found it the perfect fit, providing that all too often ‘missing-link’ to nature. In 2013 she completed her 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training program and currently practices and teaches yoga at the Saint John Yoga Coop.

We hope that you will join us for this special Kayoga Experience this summer.
