“Anne and I just wanted to say thank you again. The sunset kayak trip was the highlight of our trip to New Brunswick. We were happy that we got to see the eagles, harbor porpoise and seals and the scenery too. That the other two couples were so nice added to our experience and we look forward to them e-mailing the pictures to us.

Once again, thank you for a wonderful experience and you can rest assured that I will be letting some friends who kayak know about Seascape Kayak Tours.”

SeaStar with TaglineSeaStar Collection Trips

Seascape is in the process of adding a series of exciting new paddling destinations to its existing quality sea kayaking offerings in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Costa Rica. Working closely with local operators who share our sustainable tourism philosophy, we will offer one or two special adventures each year to very unique marine environments that will provide incredible paddling experiences.

THE FIRST SEASTAR TRIP WAS IN BAJA MEXICO IN APRIL 2010

The first of these new products was offered on the Sea of Cortez, Baja Mexico, April 9-16, 2010. Baja was selected as the first destination because of Seascape’s close relationship to the region and to a number of excellent outfitters. Bruce has guided and instructed a number of paddling programs in Baja, and offers this adventure in connection with Trudi Angell, the original sea kayak operator in Baja, and Steph White, a colleague who has guided in Baja for more than 20 years. A local Mexican guide completed the leadership team. The trip involves paddling a remote portion of the coastline and island environment around Loreto, Mexico.

Based on our connections and client interest, some other destinations we are presently pursuing are Haida Gwaii, Queen Charlotte Islands, BC, Canada; the Canadian Arctic; the Caribbean coast of Panama, Central America; Chile, Ecuador (Galapagos Islands), The Amazon, South America; Greenland; and Lake Malawi, Africa. If there are other destinations you would like us to look into, please let us know.
