“This is THE not to be missed tour, for experienced and novice paddlers alike.  We spent the day paddling around the islands just off Deer Island, viewing the ever changing panorama, minke whales, bald eagles, harbor porpoises, and grey seals.  Our guides soon became friends as they taught us about the salmon farms, lobster pounds (live storage), and fishing weirs still used today since being developed by first nations people.  They took us to a quiet cove and served up a great lunch of smoke salmon (not lox), cheese, apples, humus, etc. I want to emphasize that experienced paddlers need to be introduced to Fundy paddling with a guide because the tidal currents are like nowhere else, and the islands that had been your reference at low tide will disappear at high tide.  Safety is a top priority for the Seascape team.  We highly recommend Seascape.”
