About Us

Welcome to Seascape

Seascape Kayak Tours Inc., a Canadian leader in adventure tourism, has been offering unique, small-group sea kayaking experiences since 1994. The company has built its reputation on exceptional quality, extensive experience, high safety standards, personalized, friendly service, and a strong commitment to the culture, history and natural environment of each of its areas of operation.

Fully guided expeditions – from day trips to week-long adventures – focus on education, wildlife observation and sound environmental practices. In addition to guiding tours from its base in the Bay of Fundy, one of the world’s richest marine ecosystems, the company offers kayak expeditions to two other special ocean environments, the dramatic coastline of Newfoundland and the warm tropical waters of Costa Rica.

Relax. You can be a beginner.

Although Seascape does offer programs for advanced paddlers, most tours are designed with the novice and intermediate in mind. Whether 8 or  80 years old, clients are usually in good general health, adventurous in spirit and inquisitive in nature. Guides create a supportive learning environment in which each participant is encouraged to develop sea kayaking proficiency at his or her own pace. Paddling technique and rescue procedures are thoroughly covered on each tour.

Types of trips

Seascape offers half-day or full-day trips designed to expose paddlers to the biodiversity of unique ocean ecosystems. Day trips provide an exciting adventure in a tranquil wildlife habitat, an introduction to sea kayaking, a fantastic snack or lunch, and a great opportunity for physical exercise. Sunset and moonlight paddles can also be arranged.

Fully outfitted extended sea kayak expeditions will allow you to experience a number of rich, diverse marine ecosystems and their surrounding landscapes. Paddling for 4-6 hours a day, you will become immersed in the natural rhythm of the sea. Camping out for several nights provides flexible time for hiking, beachcombing, writing, taking photographs or simply lying under the sun.
