Launching from Campobello Island, New Brunswick, this three-day sea kayak expedition takes you into the heart of the West Isles Archipelago to look for four different types of whales which frequent this biodiversity hotspot: Right, Finback, Minke and Humpback. Your group will be accompanied not only by an experienced kayak guide, but also by a marine mammal specialist and naturalist.

Wind your way through some of the most spectacular islands in Canada
You will wind your way through some of the most spectacular islands in Atlantic Canada, thrilling to common sightings of Harbour Seals, Harbour Porpoise and a myriad of sea and shore birds. Casco Bay Island, home to numerous Bald Eagles and located in the midst of a whale feeding ground, is an unforgettably special place. The coastal panorama and abundant wildlife will truly take your breath away.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival on Campobello Island; Check into your accommodation; Welcome reception and program orientation.
Meals included: Welcome reception
Day 2: Trip orientation and sense of place; Sea kayak skills orientation; Paddling and marine life observation; Return to accommodation.
Meals included: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
Day 3: Full day sea kayaking and marine life observation; Return to accommodation.
Meals included: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
Day 4: Exploration of the West Isles Archipelago; Return to accommodation early afternoon.
Meals included: Breakfast | Lunch
Note: The itinerary is fluid and we will safely chart a course each day based on weather, tide and wildlife.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
• Guides: One guide with extensive sea kayaking experience and advanced wilderness first aid certification is provided for each 4-5 clients in the group. The maximum group size is 8.
• Meals: We provide meals starting with breakfast on the first paddling day through lunch on the last paddling day. Additional meals are on your own.
• Kayaking and Safety Equipment: Kayaks, paddles, PFDs, First aid and communication.
• Accommodations: 3 nights at the Inn.
• Transfers: If necessary, land- based shuttles to and from departure points will be included.
• A donation to a local ocean conservation organization

• Travel to Campobello Island, New Brunswick.
• Personal clothing and equipment. (A very detailed personal expedition clothing and equipment list will be provided upon registration for the trip.)
