TORTUGUERO
FLOW AND ESSENCE
CARIBBEAN COAST
OVERVIEW
TORTUGUERO
FLOW & ESSENCE
Kayaks provide an intimate way to explore this magical, green, water world, teeming with wildlife. Park lodges provide the essential creature comforts each night. We paddle into the park and then explore secret lagunas and less visited canals. We also spend time investigating the Park on foot. A team of experienced, local guides and boat captains help to enrich this Caribbean experience.
.
Secret canals, lagunas and wondrous wildlife.
Paddling the serpentine freshwater canals of Tortuguero is a joy. Paddling into the park along the Rio Suerte on the first day is an easy float trip with amazing wildlife around each twist and turn. We will explore the canals in the park, however, we will also access secret canals and lagunas supported by motor boat. Each day we will paddle 3-5 hours at a relaxed pace. This is easy, non-technical paddling and we take time for birding and wildlife observation. Also included are hikes to Cerro Tortuguero, the highest point in the park and a number of easy walking trails.

"Seascape takes you off the beaten path"
I’ve done many trips with Seascape and it’s always an amazing adventure. They really work with you to make the trip you want a reality. You’ll be able to set the pace, whether that’s pushing hard to reach an objective or having a relaxing day out. Seascape takes you off the beaten path to quiet serene spots where you can really enjoy immersing yourself in nature. The wildlife sightings can be spectacular in these environments. I’ve seen whales, dolphins and turtles to name a few sightings I’ve had on trips. Bruce and team create a welcoming environment and inspire thoughtful conversation as well as peaceful moments of reflection. I highly recommend Seascape for your next kayak adventure!
